Receiving and Enjoying Grace by Exercising our Spirit and Enthroning the Lord

May 1, 2014 by aGodMan 1 Comment

Heb. 4:16 Let us therefore come forward with boldness to the throne of grace that we may receive mercy and find grace for timely help.

In our daily Christian life we need to know a practical and simple way to receive and enjoy grace. When we are at work, at home, on the bus, driving the car, or doing this and that, what is the practical way to daily receive and enjoy grace? The Bible shows us that grace is […]

our flesh profits nothing: let us turn to our mingled spirit! (2011 winter school of truth)

January 16, 2012 by Christian Student 3 Comments

I really enjoyed the fact that we have the key to both “death” and “life and peace”. This key is non other than our mind. “For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the spirit is life and peace” (Romans 8:6). The moment I got to know this, I found the answer to lot of problems in my life. Can the flesh do any good to you? No, the flesh cannot do any good for you. The Lord Jesus said “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing” (John 6:63). Hallelujah – our flesh profits NOTHING! So if the flesh profits nothing, let us set our mind on the spirit because He gives us life! [sharing by a brother who recently attended the Winter School of Truth – read more online]

God’s economy is fully accomplished by the exercise of our mingled spirit (as revealed in Ephesians)

May 31, 2011 by aGodMan 1 Comment

Praise the Lord for God’s economy! The economy of God (His household administration according to His heart’s desire) revealed in the book of Ephesians is accomplished by the exercise of our mingled spirit for the dispensing of the Triune God into us unto the building up of the church as the Body of Christ (1 […]

If God in Christ is everything we need, why some Christians are still unhappy or joyless?

May 5, 2011 by aGodMan 8 Comments

This is a very good question. As believers in Christ, we know from the Bible that when we repented and believed in the Lord, Christ became our allotted portion with the saints in the light (Col. 1:12), and God gave Christ to us as the fattened calf (Luke 15) for us to enjoy. We were […]

To live in the new creation, we have to turn from the things seen to the things not seen

February 25, 2011 by aGodMan 1 Comment

In order for us to live in the new creation, we have to turn from the things seen to the things not seen. The 3 verses at the end of chapter 4 in the second epistle Paul wrote to the Corinthians are very striking, for they unveil how we, the believers in Christ who have […]

the fellowship of life is the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, and we enjoy it by being in our spirit!

These days we’re enjoying more and more fellowship of life – the fellowship with the Father and the Son, and the fellowship with all the believers! Today I enjoyed specifically that this fellowship is in spirit – in our mingled spirit! It is not simply the believers getting together, but the believers that enjoy the […]

following the Lord Jesus’ pattern to live a life by denying our natural life and live by the divine life

December 3, 2010 by aGodMan 10 Comments
