Being Rescued out of the Present Evil Age by the Revelation of God’s Son in us (2023 Autumn Uni Conference)

November 11, 2023 by Christian Student Leave a Comment

Who gave Himself for our sins that He might rescue us out of the present evil age according to the will of our God and Father. Gal. 1:4

Praise the Lord for the uni conference. I’ve been attending the uni conferences, and I’m always encouraged when I see all the students gather together from many different campuses and universities. It’s encouraging to see that the Lord is moving and growing in so many cities in UK. At this conference, I noticed there was […]

a trainee’s testimony – learning to put myself aside and enjoy the Lord with the saints!

December 19, 2011 by Christian Student 2 Comments

In my individual dealing with my ‘self’ I have been learning to put myself aside, especially when we go out on the campus to preach the gospel or to nourish our contacts. Many times I have been busy with my own things, I felt tired, and I didn’t even have any willingness to go out; however, the Lord has been reminding me to seek first His Kingdom (Matt. 6:33) and put Him first in any kinds of situation. I must exercise my will to choose what the Lord wants and rather forget about myself, my own feelings, and my own needs. It’s a privilege to be out on the campus and speak to people and take care of those that have already been captured by the Lord! It’s wonderful to be with the saints and the students. Plus I loved going to Uxbridge where sister Gloria bakes the most delicious cakes for every Friday night meeting! being a Christian Student on the campus – eating and drinking Christ, and staying in the Body!

December 16, 2011 by Christian Student 4 Comments

As a Christian living in this current age, sometimes we might experience a failure of our spiritual life. Sometimes we might trip and fall a bit. Just remember the power of the blood of Jesus Christ. Just remember that even the apostle Paul said “Not that I have already obtained or am already perfected” and then the next phrase says, “But I pursue.” Yes! We can pursue! We have the right to pursue our precious Lord! Pursue Him with the saints! Let us forget the things behind, stretch forward to the things before, and pursue toward the goal together to the New Jerusalem. [continue reading this article online]

being a Christian student on the campus: overflow from the students in London top enjoyment

December 8, 2011 by Christian Student 2 Comments

Recently we had a meeting with the Christian students in London, an overflow meeting, something like a end-of-term celebration meeting… “This semester my roommate got saved! This is the best thing that has ever happened to me!” “The best thing we can give the Lord is our time – and there’s no better way to spend our time than being with the Lord” [read more testimonies online]

being a Christian student on the Campus – so sweet to start uni with the saints in the church life!

December 6, 2011 by Christian Student 6 Comments

This semester has been so enjoyable. This has been my first semester at uni and at the same time in the church life – and the difference is so big! I know that I have a solid support network and the more I focus on the Lord, the less I worry and the more I enjoy my lessons. The best part is the saints. They support me in every way, they help me with my work, they cheer me up when I’m down, they entertain me when I’m bored… [read more online]

being a Christian student on the campus – being grouped together with the students is vital!

December 4, 2011 by Christian Student 3 Comments

Do I believe in God? Yes, I still do. Do I believe God exists in every discipline or department of the University? No, I still don’t…. The new generation in the university today has a strong distinguishable characteristic of “being grouped together”, and this matter is being strongly practiced and emphasized as years pass by. It’s a good thing – so make sure you are “grouped” with your spiritual friends, call each other to make sure no one is left out!

Being a Christian Student on the Campus – no matter what, we’re for Christ and the church!

November 27, 2011 by Christian Student 1 Comment

In our Christian life, it seems like there is always something that demands our attention. In this case, I think a big danger is that if we don’t settle in our being that we MUST love the Lord first, best, and only, and that we MUST be for Christ and the church, then the attitude of being for the Lord when it is convenient may creep in [continue reading]
